The Local Police of Salou has signaled several parking areas controlled for the celebration of the Coso Blanco, in anticipation of the very high number of vehicles that will arrive from neighboring municipalities. The car parks will be easily and quickly accessible and will be located in the following places: the parking of Paseo Jaime I, Carles Roig car park and the car park on Berlin Street, as well as another one around the Elisabeth-Vial school in Cavet and the new free parking deterrent Emprius.

From 5 to 8 October 2017, the Salou-PortAventura World-Costa Dorada triangle will once again be the epicenter of the World Rally Championship (WRC) event in Spain. With 53 editions of the RallyRacc, this will be the 13th consecutive edition that runs along the roads of Tarragona.

Successful participation in the second edition of the "Salou de Moda" which took place the first weekend of July in Paseo Jaume I of Salou. "Salou de Moda" focused on presenting the seasonal trends of local shops through an urban footbridge complemented by a summer market and a gastronomic space.

Salou installs on the Paseo Jaume I, in front of Playa Llevant, giant letters that give the town its name, to promote the capital of the Costa Dorada and that the logo is an identity for Salou and a tourist point of interest.

As every year, the City of Salou opens a Beach Police Station in Jaume I promenade, to offer a better service of proximity and greater security due to the great concentration of visitor in the area.

Levante beach and the Capellans beach of Salou have passed, once again, all the criteria that govern the quality of the beaches, ranking as two of the great beaches of the Costa Dorada. With 27 blue flags, the beaches of the Costa Dorada beaches remain notably around the country.

The City of Salou presents the program for the cultural week of St George's 2017, which highlights the change of location of the traditional roses and books stands in the Paseo Jaume I.

Más de un centenar de coches de época tomarán parte este próximo domingo, 25 de septiembre de 2016, en la sexta edición del Rally Clásicos Costa Dorada. A partir de mediodía, los coches, el más antiguo de 1902, quedarán expuestos en el paseo Jaume I de Salou.
