The full City Council of Salou has rejected with the votes of government (CiU and PSC-FUPS) and C S and PP to inquire about BCN World considering it "unnecessary." The mayor, Pere Granados, said that this is an investment "nothing inconsistent with the model of family tourism Salou" and has "tier one operators" interested in investing as Hard Rock, Melco or Perelada Group.
