Reus Modernist: Distinguished Pavilion in Institute Pere Mata

Modernism in Reus: Pere Mata Institute

The Pere Mata Institute is the flagship of Modernism Reus visit. It is a psychiatric hospital built between 1897 and 1912 by Lluís Domènech i Montaner. It is a jewel of Catalan Modernism and is the precedent of the Hospital de Sant Pau, Barcelona, designed by the same architect also.
