Around 3000 Catalan businessmen attended three days of the Forum of Internationalization in 2011 organized by the Department of Business and Employment through ACC1Ó agency for the competitiveness of the Catalan company. The Forum is closed having delved into the business opportunities that exist in different countries, through twenty themed seminars and direct assessment of the 34 Business Promotion Centres of the Government in the world. Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, markets star The seminars also requested by companies that have been focused on the opportunities and challenges for Catalan companies in Brazil, Mexico and Colombia. This confirms the upward trend in export and establish itself in emerging markets, which are currently experiencing a greater dynamism. Advice to more than 1,100 international companies with expansion plans The heads of all offices ACC1Ó the world have advised over 1,100 companies with expansion plans abroad. Through personal interviews, international experts have defined what the best strategies to introduce themselves, consolidate or expand depending on the target market. The centers that have met with a greater number of employers have been located in Central and South America (Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia and Peru, among others), followed by Germany, France and the United States. Interviews with one hundred companies in Lleida, Girona, Tarragona and Manresa Representatives from the offices of Chile, Brazil, New York, Buenos Aires, Paris, Moscow, Berlin and Mexico today have moved to different parts of Catalonia to assist hundreds of local businesses. The meetings have been held in Lleida, Girona, Tarragona and Manresa.
