- Paseo Jaume I in Salou will be the setting for Sabor Salou, the gastronomic fair that will take place on May 6, 7 and 8, 2022. This initiative celebrates 10 years fully consolidated to promote local restoration and products with denomination of origin and gourmet of the zone. In addition, this year the Sabor Salou Music Festival has also been organized, with DJ performances every day at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. to attract a younger audience.
- In total there will be 35 exhibitors, of which 29 are restaurants in Salou that will offer their tastings in the tents that will be set up for the occasion on Paseo Jaume I. In addition, there will be terrace and rest spaces, and a complementary offer of workshops cooking for adults and children, wine tastings, recycling workshops, etc. It is also expected that the general director of Tourism of Catalonia, Marta Domènech, will inaugurate the Sabor Salou 2022.
- This gastronomic fair will once again have Europa FM as the Official Broadcaster of the gastronomic event, and will be in charge of the music throughout the weekend. There is also the collaboration of the Institut Català del Vi (INCAVI), and Coca-Cola and San Miguel will be present, which will enliven the fair with different activities and raffles.
- The Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, who has been accompanied by the Councilor for Economic Dynamization, Hèctor Maiquez, and Andrea Mazzanti, technical director of Sabor Salou, have participated in the presentation of Sabor Salou. The Councilor for Youth and Children, Julia Gómez; and the Councilor for Cultural Services, Xavier Montalà.
- The organization hopes to recover the results of Sabor Salou 2019, when 50,000 tastings were served and there were more than 42,000 visitors.
