Costa Daurada and Terres de l' Ebre stressed their presence at this year's World Travel Market dinner by the Catalan Tourism organized and offered to the heads of the British and Irish tourism industry . The proposal was prepared by gourmet chefs Joan Bosch ( Can Bosch restaurant ), Diego Campos ( restaurant Esquina Diego ) , Fran Lopez restaurant El Torreó de l' Indià ) and their cooking equipment.

The menu offered by the three restaurants, awarded with a Michelin star, was the letter of gastronomic reality of the territory , synthesizing tradition and modernity around products such as rice, tuna, prawns , sea bass , sea nettles or pig's feet . A menu featuring the renewed vision of the kitchen of the demarcation and was accompanied by wines from the appellations of origin Priorat , Montsant , Conca de Barbera and Terra Alta. Dinner was offered at the Gladstone Library room , former British Liberal club , and was chaired by the Director General of Tourism of Catalonia , Marian Muro and the president of the Association of British Tour Operators (ABTA ) , attended the president of the Province of Tarragona, Josep Poblet , the Mayor of Cambrils , Mercè Dalmau , and the Mayor of Salou , Pere Granados .

This event is part of the participation of Costa Dorada and the Terres de l' Ebre in Catalonia 's stand , which again has been done under the model corner . As for Costa Dorada, municipal boards have participated: Cambrils , Hospitalet de l'Infant and Vall de Llors , Salou , Tarragona , Torredembarra , El Vendrell , Vila -seca La Pineda beach and PortAventura . Remember that the UK market accounts for 22 % of global demand in Costa Dorada, and 10% in the case of the Terres de l' Ebre. For this reason , it is a highly strategic market .
