The Conservatory of Tarragona hosts the concerts of the grants Ibercaja



Tarragona. Costa Dorada. The next Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 June 2011, the six students from the Conservatory of Music of the Council who have been finalists will give two concerts to be eligible for two scholarships annually Ibercaja of social work. These grants, which come to the 10th edition, is to fund further studies are aimed at students and up to 26 years who have completed or are enrolled in the final year of professional grade. The six participants have been selected previously for the evaluation of the curriculum. The award of scholarships will be made by individual concerts. The jury will award two scholarships of 5,000 € for each winner in order to extend their studies in Spain or abroad. On Wednesday 15 June will be the concert flute, at 16h, 17h for violin and piano will start at 18pm. On Thursday June 16 concert will take place on guitar, at 16h, 17h and violin to the cello 18pm. Auditions will be held at the hall of the Conservatory of Music Xavier goals of the Provincial Tarragona, admission is free. These grants, which promotes Ibercaja within the Social and Cultural Work of the entity, the conservatories are made of Logroño, Castellón, Tarragona Guadalajara. There are eligible students born in Spain or have Spanish nationality at the time of registration. In this year 26 candidates were presented. The contestants have been selected by Frederic Sanchez Muñoz (flute), Judith Bardolet Vilaro (violin), Oscar Caravaca Gonzalez (piano), Adrian Baiges Hernandez (guitar), Marc Charles Montesinos (violin) and Oscar Fernandez Alabau (cello). The winners of last year were Richard Rovirosa Cabré (piano), Beatriz Romero Sirvent (violin) and José Francisco Martínez Antón (tuba), with which, again, it was clear the high level of these calls . Initiatives like these are helpful for young instrumentalists who have the will to project its future in the music world.
