The Reus 2014 World Figure Skating Championship was the star of the opening ceremony of the Christmas Park on Friday 27th December. The opening ceremony was led by the skaters Group Show of Reus Deportiu, who in October 2012 were world champions in Auckland (New Zealand). The Christmas Park of Reus, which can be visited until January 4, this year has civility and cohabitation as a common thread. This was the proposal that the organization moved to entities that develop activities in the context of active leisure, educational and participatory. The park draws proposals from organizations and various departments and municipal departments.
6,000 m2 of activities
The park fills all available space in the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions. More than 6,000 m2 of activity in both indoors and outdoors. New technologies
In the context of new technologies stands as a new application for smartphones Smart Quiz. It is a game for smartphones that helps visitors to learn about the activities and participating entities in the Christmas Park in the form of treasure hunt.
The application promotes civility and reveals unknown aspects of the city in a pleasant and attractive way for young people. Smart Quiz game activities are designed so that they can start making prior to arrival at the park and continue them once arrived. The application Smart Quiz aims to promote new technologies, as well as the participation of visitors and their families in activities that are carried out.
Hours and prices
Park Reus Christmas 2013 will remain open until the January 4, with the same dates and times of the past edition. It can be visited every day from 15:00 to 21:30, except December 31, which will close at 20:00, and January 1, when the park is closed.
As for the prices, the park will keep the cost of tickets from previous years: € 5 entry daily, plus 5 bonus options (€ 22) bonus 10 (€ 40) and discounts and single-parent families, groups, people with disabilities and Carnet Jove (youth card).
