The beaches of the Costa Daurada and Delta again stand out from the beaches around the country, beaches that have achieved up to this summer 38 blue flags. All beaches have revalidated recognition with the addition of Calafell beach, which adds for the first time in this exclusive list. The Blue Flag is an award given by the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEC), which certifies that the beaches beyond examinations of hygiene, safety, open access, in compliance with current regulations and to care for people with disabilities.
