Salou receives Sports Tourism Destination in Fitur
Salou. Costa Dorada. January 31, 2013. The capital of the Costa Dorada has received certification as a Sports Tourism Destination. The event was led by the Minister for Enterprise and Employment, Felip Puig, who presented the diploma certification of this new Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados accompanied by the Councillor for Tourism Benet Presas part of the FITUR fair. The mayor said that "the efforts made by both the public and the private sector is rewarded with this certification that will complement and diversify our tourism, specializing ourselves favoring the seasonality of the tourist season and increasing activity in this area throughout the year. " The Councillor for Tourism, Benet Presas, for his part added that "it is a recognition of our ability and resources to present a quality tourism based sport" and that "we certainly affect positive for tourism in the town and its people. " This certification label attached to the Family Holiday with the town already has and what has been achieved thanks to the efforts and commitment of local entrepreneurs.
