Salou is looking fo runners to fight cancer for charity

" On May 6, 2012 the test will begin at 9:45 pm on Passeig Jaume I, at the height of the statue of Jaume I. The distances will be from 4 qm and 10 qm, moreover, for the first time mounted a popular race for children who must travel a distance of 500 meters. There will be three categories for each distance: men, women, and children under 12. Also, there will be prize for the 1 º, 2 º and 3 º in each category, and also for the best costume. To participate in the race should be an on-line registration before eight o'clock in the afternoon of May 4, paying € 12 if you want to join the 10 qm, from 12 € for 4 SM or € 8 in the case of children up to 12 years, including a technical shirt, refreshments and a snack. If the entries are the same race day there will be an increase in the cost of participation. In the category of young children the cost of registration is $ 5 and can do the same on race day. All of them, as explained from the organization, will have a gift. 100% of the profits raised from the sale of tickets and donations are distributed directly among the three associations with cancer who supports the Freesia Group: the CNIO (National Cancer Research Center), Tarragon delegation of AECC (Spanish Cancer Association) and Tarragona delegation of AFANOC (against cancer in children), some of them will be in the race. Moreover, the group also organized by the following Sunday after the race on May 13, the second edition of 'flea market' of second-hand products. Everyone who wants to pay $ 8 and a stall will be able to sell anything you want. The 'flea market' will take place in the parking lot next to City Hall, where the market will usually be held on Mondays.
