Until January 11 you can visit at Torre Vella of Salou the exhibition “Pels volts de Nadal” (Around Christmas), where you can see many pictures of Salou on the occasion of Christmas. Photographer Maria Gràcia de la Hoz, writer and musician Jaume Calatayud and Vicente Monera presented the exhibition that was opened by the Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, along with Councillor Maria Jose Rodriguez.
The exhibition is a collection of photos of Salou in Christmas (Masia Catalana, Torre Vella snow... ). In addition, it projects a visual entitled "Nadales", by Jaume Calatayud and Vicente Monera, which is a wonderful tour of the Christmas tradition in poetic musical compositions by the hand of some of the most prestigious authors in Catalan literature: JV Foix, Miquel Martí i Pol , Josep Maria de Sagarra, Pere Quart, Josep Pla and Joan Salvat Papaseit.
At the opening was present Maria Gràcia de la Hoz, who works with digital photography and for years teaches photography at various levels. In this event also participated Jaume Calatayud, who is a writer, author of numerous works in Catalan and Spanish and cultivated both prose and verse along with musician Vicente Monera. He is a composer and music teacher and performer, with his guitar, of his own compositions. In addition, he is part of other musical groups.
Mayor Pere Granados explained that it is a "photographic exhibition and anecdotal nature documentary showing different aspects of well usually tend to identify with our city" and encouraged all citizens to make the visit to discover the photographs inspired by Christmas.
