The Pau Casals Auditorium celebrates St. Cecilia
El Vendrell. Costa Dorada. Saint Cecilia, the feast of the patron saint of music, will be held in Pau Casals Auditorium of El Vendrell on Sunday 27 November 2011, at 12 am, with a concert dedicated to choral singing. As usual, it includes the majority of corals Vendrell, made up of singers from three to over sixty years, some of which are members of the same family. The participating choirs are four groups of Little Star: - The group Flautins bells and directed by Roser Saperas, Anna Casas, Elena and Berta Cullaré Borrell will play popular pieces such as the giant pine o Pastoret. - The group Timbalets and cymbals, led by Mar Garcia, Sandra Cantero, Louis Serres, Albert Figueras and Xavier Solé, sing parts of the passenger Mozart cantata, the composer Nathan Tarrés. - Gralles The group, led by Anna Ibarz, will perform three pieces, among which are The mosquito Z. Kodaly. - The group of tenors, directed by Teresa M. Solé also sing three pieces, including Francie has to Benjamin Britten. There will attend the Young Voices Choir, directed by Jordi Solé, who will sing four pieces. In addition, the choir will perform choral Parish, who will perform songs from The Beatles and is directed by Jordi Sole. The music festival will end with a common voice of all the singers involved. It must be said that this concert is part of the Fall Series of the Pau Casals Auditorium, and tickets are already sold out.
