Salou
Salou has 2,000 parking spaces in blue area, 1,000 of which are grouped in several surface parking lots, while the rest are parking spaces that extend along its streets.
The main streets of the city center (Barcelona streets, Via Roma, Ciutat de Reus, Via Augusta and Berenguer de Palou) are regulated by the blue area throughout the year, while from Easter and up to sixteen days later, and between 1 June to 30 September, the blue area is extended to 29 streets.
During the summer season, the blue area in Salou is operational every day, including Sundays and holidays, between 10 and 2pm and from 5pm to 10pm.
In winter the hours are the same, although the blue zone is no longer operational from 8pm and does not run either on Sundays or holidays.
The use of the blue zone is limited to a maximum of 4 hours straight and the cost of the first hour ranges from 0.75 euros in Zone 3, the cheapest, to 1.25 euros in the most central area of Salou.
The blue zone fines for violating the controlled parking zone can be overridden directly in parking meters. If exceed in time, you will have to pay 3.60 euros and if parked without ticket the fine is EUR 7.20. All vehicles, both residents and non-residents can park freely and free of charge outside the hours of operation of the blue are.
