Juan Valverde (PANDORA'S BOX) 10:00 p.m. € 5/8 Pop, Bcn My name is Juan Valverde Montalbán. Born in Barcelona on February 3, 1975, an act of no consequence, I became an avid aquarium, dreamy and alchemist. Since very little, I've always felt somehow connected to the world of the arts. Ever since I can remember, I have sung songs of countless artists from all musical genres. I called a lot of attention to this music, simply by speaking. I come from a family where there have been several modest orchestral musicians in the paternal and maternal flamenco singers. Always unknown musicians and singers at the media. Besides, I have a distant cousin, who is director of Philharmonic orchestra in Jaen. My paternal great-grandfather was a leading journalist of the time, who rubbed shoulders with the highest offices of the Republic, thus, could take over a very good education for their children. His son, my paternal grandfather, was a senior engineer in the mining industry in this country, as well as school teacher and was very interested in literature and writing his own works. He wrote several novels and fairy tales that were not published, but if there was one that came for that purpose. It was called "Hell in the bowels of the earth." An interesting book of adventures in the end, after having made it to edit it, could not see the light after death, my grandfather, because of an illness. Perhaps he comes to write it, as well as songs, I have several half-written novels, waiting to be resumed. I remember my mother, who has always been a happy woman, sing songs while doing housework. And I remember hearing it, I felt the need to. Whereupon, while making the beds and picked up my room and others, invented Pop songs in English from whole cloth. Or sing the songs they used to hear at family parties or listening to Radio Tele Radio Taxi Barcelona ... well, singing.
