Cambrils. Centro Civico Les Basses. Conference.   7pm   Poetry reading   Francis Parcerisas (Begues, Baix Llobregat, 1944) is a poet, translator and literary critic. Professor of the Department of Translation and Interpretation at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, which has been deputy director and head of the Department of Translation. Prominent member of the literary generation 70, has published, among other books of poems are Bathing Men (1966), The Golden Age (1984), Fireworks October (1992) and Still Life with Children ( 2000). Also as a poet has received numerous awards, such as Carles Riba, 1966, the Critics of Catalan Poetry (1983) and Catalan Literature of the Generalitat of Catalonia, the same year.
