Saturday 21 August at 8pm in Vallbona de les Monges Jaume Vilaseca TRIO Jaume Vilaseca - Dick Them • Piano and bass-Ciontrabaix • Ramon Diaz-percussion, drums and cajón. For Jaume Vilaseca is not a jazz style, not a dogma. It's something totally live communication neat, open and committed approach to music and improvisation. In his later works, the compositions of Vilaseca invite all those world music that have been and will always belong to the people, a genuine global jam session. Now JVQ faces an unusual repertoire. The music of the progressive rock band Genesis from 'Tresspass' 1970 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway' in 1974, is an inexhaustible source of ideas, creativity, risk ... Naked barroquismes own watermarks and the time it was created without vocals or lyrics, reappears with all his magic essence, its lyricism and contemporaneity. Genesis reborn again with a new voice, a new language, rhythms and colors based on flamenco roots, African, Latin and Brazilian.
