The company Gelabert Azzopardi presented on Friday 25 November at 22 pm, the Auditorium Theatre in L'Hospitalet de l'Infant replacement and upgrade of Belmonte. One of his most iconic performances of the company, released in 1988 which has become the benchmark for contemporary dance in our country. Belmonte is an abstraction in terms of choreographic, musical and visual world of the bulls, which uses the extraordinary personality of Juan Belmonte (1892-1962) as secret force of inspiration. It is a play about the relationship between instinct and reason, between life and death. Only if we can find and deal with the animal in us that we do our dance movement.
